HSBC provides the facility to initiate online request for e-payment of direct tax. You need to have an account and register your TAN/PAN details with HSBC in order to effect the tax payment.

CHALLAN NO./ITNS 281 Tax Deducted at Source / Tax Collected at Source (TDS/TCS) from corporates or non-corporates
CHALLAN NO./ITNS 282 Payment of Security Transaction Tax, Hotel Receipts Tax, Estate Duty, Interest Tax, Wealth Tax, Expenditure Tax /Other direct taxes & Gift tax

HSBC will reject the payments with incorrect PAN / TAN details.

 

You can use this service only if you are enabled for payments on HSBCnet / Business Internet Banking or executed Fax Indemnity with HSBC.

 

Please ensure that you enter a correct Email ID. An alert will be sent to this Email ID containing the Transaction Reference Number on successful completion of each online challan.

 

You can also take a print of the Confirmation page and use the Transaction Reference Number for any future communication.

 

Please ensure that you have already registered your Email ID with HSBC specifically for the online tax payment service. The e-receipt containing Challan Identification Number will be emailed to this Email ID on successful payment of the tax.

 

HSBC will not be responsible for non-receipt of the email alert or e-receipt due to incorrect email IDs

 

Do not enter double quotes (") in any of the fields.

 

For all tax types having a due date for making payment, kindly submit your request at least two days prior to the due date, to avoid any late payment penalty and interest as may be applicable by the Government of India.

 

In case of any discrepancies, post successful processing of the tax payment request, you will need to contact the respective tax collection department of Government of India.
