Terms and Conditions for RBL Bank Credit Cards Instapay

  1. This Instapay facility ("Facility/ Service") from RBL Bank Limited ("RBL Bank") is open to Cardmember(s) who are individual residents of India and holding a valid and current RBL Bank Credit Card, Bajaj Finserv RBL Bank SuperCard hereinafter referred as "Card"
  2. Under this Facility/ Service, Cardmember will be able to pay various utility bills for utility companies ("Billers") in selected cities listed on the website: https://www.billdesk.com/pgidsk/pgmerc/instpy/RBLCRDIndex.jsp ("Website"). The list of Billers available for payment may change from time to time at the sole discretion of RBL Bank and any other Service Provider engaged by RBL Bank, without prior intimation to Cardmembers.
  3. Participation in this program is completely voluntary.
  4. This Service is available only for individual Cardmembers and not Corporate Cardmembers.
  5. To avail this facility, Cardmember shall be required to enter Bill details correctly in the designated fields on Website. It is specifically stipulated that all liability shall be on the Cardmember in case of any incorrect entry of Bill or Bill account details.
  6. Cardmember shall take precaution to ensure that no double payment is made from his end for the same bill. Before making a payment, Cardmember shall ensure that the same bill is not registered / paid through any other service provider or channel.
  7. The Cardmember agrees that the payment to the Biller may take up to 2 working days to get updated with the merchant.
  8. RBL Bank will not accept any cancellation request by the Cardmember if the payment transaction has been authorised on his Credit card account and payment is accepted by the Biller.
  9. Cardmember shall be solely responsible and liable to settle any disputes directly with the Biller.
  10. Cardmember should ensure that he/she receives a confirmation from the Biller for the payment made by him/her through this Facility. For any non-confirmation of transaction, RBL Bank shall not be responsible and liable and accordingly no payments shall be made to the Biller.
  11. Any refund, initiated by the Biller will be credited within 7 business days.
  12. RBL Bank does not guarantee and shall not be deemed to have guaranteed, the timeliness, sequence, accuracy, completeness, reliability or content of the billing information.
  13. RBL Bank shall not be liable for any inaccuracy, error or delay in, or omission of (a) any such data, information or message, or (b) the transmission or delivery of any such data, information or message; or any loss or damage arising from or occasioned by (i) any such inaccuracy, error, delay or omission, (ii) non-performance, or (iii) interruption in any such data, information or message, due to any "Force Majeure" event or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of RBL Bank. (c) for late payment made by Cardmember (d) any duplicate payments incorrect payment / non - payment to Biller on account of Cardmember entering details. (e) directly, indirectly, incidentally or consequentially for any such acts of the Cardmember for any incorrect details entered by the Cardmember. (f) any inadequacy or deficiency in any goods / services, including, but not limited to, deficient quality, delivery, quantity etc., rendered by the Biller.
  14. Biller may charge a "Convenience Fee" for bill payments. The debit on the Card will be inclusive of the Convenience Fee. The Convenience Fee is charged by the Biller and may change from time to time.
  15. By making a payment to the Biller, the Cardmember is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions, as may be applicable of the Biller.
  16. The provision of Services by the Biller to Cardmember is the sole responsibility of the Biller.
  17. In all situations where Cardmember Services are discontinued/ disrupted due to any acts of the Biller, governmental orders and any other related matter, RBL Bank shall not be responsible and/or liable for the same.
  18. Cardmember is liable to honour all his/her Card commitments irrespective of any grievances/complaints he/she may have with the Billers.
  19. RBL Bank reserves the right to refuse the Facility to the Cardmember without assigning any reason thereto.

The Cardmember shall indemnifies RBL Bank from and against all actions, suits, claims, liabilities and proceedings due to or arising out of any or all disputes between the Cardmember and Billers or by reason of RBL Bank acting in good faith and bonafide belief and for any loss, damages incurred by Cardmember on account of the following reasons:
    2. Biller and/or details required by the Biller for effecting the payment are not correctly provided by the Cardmember.
    3. Refusal of the Biller to receive the payment for any reason whatsoever, in which case, the Cardmember shall directly get in touch with the Biller for resolution.
    4. For any causes due to force majeure such as earthquake, flood, fire and other natural calamities or circumstances beyond the control of RBL Bank or its agents or third party service providers.
  20. All disputes arising out of the said services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Mumbai.
